I finally pulled up my socks and made salsa fresca because I had a jalapeno leftover from the weekend I fed a dozen people tacos (chicken, pork, beef, refried beans). Probably a tad nearsighted to make two cups of salsa to use up one small jalapeno, but now I know I can make a reasonable salsa and not buy the plastic tubs any more.
We also have: a partial tub of sour cream, jarred red salsa, jarred salsa verde, pickled red onions, oranges, zucchini, napa cabbage, sweet potato, bell peppers
loaded sweet potato home fries with salsa, cheddar, and a fried egg
