Week of Aug 29 - too darn hot

Actual: salmon corn cakes with cornichon-coriander tartar sauce. Verdict: delicious, but very small serving sizes. Saturday

brisket, pickled onion, salsa verde, cilantro, feta on sweet potato home fries

braised coconut curry chicken thighs, spinach, rice noodles, coriander, fish sauce, lime, palm sugar

Actual: braised coconut curry chicken thighs with spinach, forgot the coriander, and a side of twice-fried plantains. Verdict: too long and hot for the weather to create, but quite good, especially with the floralness of the plantain side dish. Sunday 

okonomiyaki, pickled onions, pickled ginger, pork belly crackling

Actual: okonomiyaki, pork belly crackling, refried brisket. Verdict: still haven't figured out how to prepare the pork belly crackling, forgot I wanted to put on some furikake. Monday

fish, slaw with ginger and peanuts
